Interesting things at Bali

Writing a blog on the interesting things, that I came across at Bali!

  • Starting with the Amazing Paintings that I came across Bali:
The below one is a picture of the famous Bogor Dance, in Bali, with Ganesha and Buddha at the ends.

  • The other is a picture, which given an option to go back in time, would never click again! Its a funeral ceremony being performed in Bali. It was only after taking the picture, the driver told us about it!
  • The below are the celebrations of two festivals @ Bali - Moh Masar (Festival for the well being of market), and Odalan and Purnama (4th full moon celebration, according to the Balinese Calendar).
  • The below lies, a sea-foold hotel @ Kuta Beach, and the pictures tell it all:

The Cultural Bali Readme blog!

I wiki(ed), and google(d) and came up with my composed versioned of the Bali Travel Guide.

Click Here to download my Bali Travel Guide.

The below mentioned are very Important Contact numbers, if you wish to get a very good deal to get around in Bali

Travel Agent - Surya (Female) (+62) 818 346287
It was surprising that the best budget deal available, is from the airport desk! Unexpected, but true! Ask her, to book hotel and taxi for you... Hotels starting from $25, and taxi rentals (including driver) as low as $37.5 per day (10hrs). Again, you will not get this deal, once you get out of airport.

Hotels
Kuta Beach, is the area to stay! Its what is called the *happening* part of Bali!
  • Sanjaya (Recommended only for bachelor guys) $25 per night (Address: Jl. Legian Dekat, Kuta Beach)
  • Maxi (New Hotel, where I stayed) $45 onwards, only with the deal@airport (Address: Jl. Legian Dekat, Kuta Beach)
From the Airport
Do not pay more than 30,000 to the taxi driver, to go to the Kuta Beach. We reached at 0130hrs and still we managed in that amount!

Taxi Rentals
Expect to pay not more than $45 per day (10 hrs), to get around in Bali. We got an even better deal. The AFV car (SUV), that we booked was driven by Komang Jaya, a local Balinese. His number, for your reference is (+62) 8124696900. The rental was as low as $37.5.

Foreword
Cancel your plan to Bali, if you just have 2 days to go! Minimum 4 days is a must!
